BACKGROUND
24Kay, born Kendrick Fludd Jr., is a rising independent hip-hop artist whose sound blends Brooklyn grit, Charleston soul, and Atlanta trap energy.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, 24Kay grew up in a disciplined military household where faith, focus, and perseverance were daily values. Regular church attendance and strong family structure helped shape the mindset that now drives his music career.
As a teenager, he relocated to Atlanta, one of hip-hop’s most influential cities, where he immersed himself in the local music culture and began developing his identity as an artist.
His first major breakout moment came when his music video “Traffic” went viral online, exposing his music to thousands of listeners and establishing him as an emerging independent voice in the hip-hop scene.
As his career gained traction, 24Kay signed with Hoodrich Management and expanded his presence through live performances, interviews, and media features. He has appeared in Zaytoven’s film Birds of a Feather 2 and performed at events connected to Love & Hip Hop Atlanta and Love & Hip Hop Miami
His music has received radio rotation across several stations including Miami’s 99.5 JAMZ, Excitement Radio, Dirty South Radio, and DJ Chuck T’s Reverb Music Review, helping him grow a strong audience throughout the Southern United States.
